Dr. Ed Moore a local Dentist has completed a training program for medical providers at Roane County Family Health Care to enable them to spot lesions in a patient’s mouth. During patient screenings and especially during screenings of young people the medical providers will note any oral abnormality and then have the ability to refer the patient to the appropriate place for treatment. The medical staff Roane County Family Health Care is acutely aware of the damage caused by the use of Spit Tobacco and is doing their part to stop its use and use early detection to prevent the spread of Oral Cancer.
