Precilla Tecson-Famularcano, M.D.
Dr. Famularcano is a native of the Philippines & finished her medical degree at Manila Central University in the Philippines in 1968. Dr. Famularcano finished her 3 year Pediatric training in Manila Central University Hospital, and then went into private practice.
She and her family migrated to the United States in 1974. After passing the board, she got her psychiatric training at Spencer State Hospital and was appointed Clinical Director from 1980-1983, and became psychiatrist of W.Va. Mental Health, to 5 counties.
Dr. Famularcano worked as a part-time ER Physician at Roane General Hospital and opened her private practice at Roane General Hospital and served as PCP for 5 years. After private practice she was hired by Roane General Hospital to be a full time ER Physician for 10 years then transferred to the Roane General Medical Clinic when it started it operation. She retired in 2006 but returned to work as a part-time Primary Care Physician at Roane County Family Health Care.
